Space Jam is Back

Something weird is happening in the desert.

On Sunday, August 16, Space Jam returns to The Historic Plaza in Twentynine Palms for its second year. From 7-10pm, we’re taking over the Plaza with black light art, music, cocktails, sweet treats, glowing everything, and plenty of strange desert energy.

Space Jam is part of the Area 29 Galactic Gathering, a weekend celebrating UFO culture, desert oddities, art, music, and all things unexplained happening around Twentynine Palms.

DJ MMB will be behind the decks with a special Daft Punk tribute set—think desert disco, deep bass, and plenty of reasons to dance.

Artist Joshr will be painting a black light mural live throughout the night, while Mojave Moon Apothecary brings Planet Zelatron, a glowing alien world of plants, crystals, and other strange discoveries. You can also get your own Space Portrait by Kurt Hamm as proof you were there.

Grab something sweet from Galaxy Pies, hit the bar for a cocktail, browse spacey vendors, load up on glow goods, and come dressed for the occasion.

Come for the music. Stay for the weirdness.

Free to attend / All are welcome
